Last Days of Summer

Well now that's it's officially Fall outside I think it's a perfect time to post about Summer. (read in sarcastic tone) I'm sorry, but not sorry for neglecting the blog. I've been taking care of two little boys and one man and if that's the reason I don't have time to blog as much, I guess that's about as good of a reason as there is. Family first and all, dont'cha know. It's the best job there is. Other reason is, I was out of town and didn't have good internet. But I do believe blogging is a good thing, at least for my life, so I will continue. (my thoughts about blogging here)

Evin (The Little Intern) who just got done with his bath and hasn't managed to get all his clothes on yet, found my secret stash of healthy granola bars, put his little feet up in my lap, laid back and said 'hmm, this is good'. Yep, so far the morning has been pretty good. Baby is sleeping happily, both boys got a bath, tummies are full, I got in my first real workout post-baby, did some dishes, and well, I'm blogging.

So before the snow starts falling I better post these pictures of one of our last days of warm.

28 Weeks

I took advantage of our beautiful family vacation to do some portraits.  I always wanted to do a maternity shoot on a dock during sunset, so I was pretty happy when this was able to happen.

Can't wait to meet you baby!!!

Trip to Colorado

Frankly it's embarrassing how long it's taken to get this post up. I knew it was going to be long and take awhile so I procrastinated and now it seems like forever ago.

Evin is like three years older now...not really. This is going to be just a never ending post of pictures, consider yourself warned. 

So here you go, our trip to Colorado.

Evin was a traveling trooper. The drive out there was long even for an adult.
I've been to Colorado before but I was shooting a wedding and didn't get to sight-see. So it was cool to be able to play the tourist this time.

Colorado is such a beautiful state and I think half my family wanted to move there once the trip was done.
