I can't believe my son is seventeen months! It truly seems like it's only been maybe eight months. Once upon a time I was wondering if he would ever come. I had waited more than nine months for this little child and I was beginning to feel that he would just stay inside forever. Well he finally showed up. It was a hard and fast labor and I swore I never wanted to go through it again. Ladies told me that I would forget how bad labor was and be ready to have another child eventually, I thought to myself, you may forget, but I don't think I ever can. Of course I wanted more children and I wasn't going to stop them from coming, but honestly God would have to really prepare my mind and heart before I got to the point of really looking forward to getting pregnant. It took me about fourteen months after Evin to really feel ready for another baby. I expected to get pregnant any day, and was finally looking forward to it. But it wasn't happening. Every month that passed I just had to wonder, what's wrong, are we not going to be blessed with any more children? I had gotten pregnant shortly after our wedding so I did have to experience what it was like to have to wait. I started to feel even more sympathy for all of my friends who haven't been able to get pregnant up to this point, and I began to even more so be thankful for my baby I did have. I had always wanted at least ten kids ever since I was like five, but maybe one was all that we were going to get. Well after over half a year of asking for another child, God has blessed us with a baby! Yep, I'm expecting again and we're very excited! Thankfully morning sickness has just been a fraction of what it was last time, and I can actually function. During Evin's first trimester you would not have seen me writing blog posts, seen me posting images, or seen me anywhere for that matter. This time I'm just really tired and overall yucky feeling, but it's not too bad. Some days are worse than others.
Also, I wanted to share our family Christmas card with you all.
