34 Weeks

I figured I better get these up just in case this baby breaks the trend and comes early or on time.
I was in Cali shooting a wedding and used the last half a day as our "babymoon".
We stayed on a really cool old boat hotel, and spent the evening exploring and taking pictures.
It feels weird to post a whole blog post with yourself featured on it, but my husband did such an awesome job and I'm so excited about this baby, I just had to post some.

Little Intern the 3rd : 31 Weeks

Have I really not announced this pregnancy on here yet?
As you can see blogging hasn't been on the top of the priority list for a little while.
Anyways, yes, baby three is on the way! We are super excited! Often the first baby and pregnancy gets all the documentation but I'm doing my best to make sure we get pictures and such for all the babies that come.

Waitin' on the World to Change

Waiting for a baby isn't the easiest thing to do. In fact the way I described it to my husband the other day was. 'It's like waiting and waiting to go to the dentist (worst place on earth) to have all your teeth pulled out (pain) so you can go to Fiji (beautiful, wonderful experience, once in a life time) where you'll have to work and get little sleep for quit a few years (life with kids)." You can fill in the blanks if the dentist and Fiji don't cut it for you. I'm making sure I get all  most of my house projects done before baby comes, because I know motivation will be lacking in days to come. Evin isn't quite sure what's going on, he knows there's a 'bebit' and that it's in mommy's tummy, but he doesn't have any idea how it going to affect his life in the future. I really can't wait to see my kids interact. I think it will be one of the coolest things ever...well most of the time.

The Last Month

What does the last month of pregnancy look like for me? It looks like me waking up early with a mega-super-woman-energy-boost ready to organize and clean every inch of my house, only to be totally worn out in an hour and a half. But at least I got an hour and a half in. As the days go by my house is getting very organized. You'll find me making lists upon lists, because I forget everything with my pregnancy brain (yes, it does exist) and I just have a ton more things on my mind. I make lists about making lists, it's amusing I'm sure. My house smells of muffins, pies, cookies, and the like, because even though I really don't like baking and I don't have a sweet tooth I am compelled by some unseen force to be domestic and let the inner baker-lady come out. If you placed a video camera on me while I'm sleeping in the last few days it would most remind you of the discovery channel. I find myself waking up a few times a night while my body is trying to turn over. I feel and I'm sure resemble a beached whale trying to roll back into the ocean. You try turning over without using your ab muscles. Braxton hicks are common, and muscles pinch and ache for various reasons. My tailbone decides it doesn't want to actually stay in one place like a normal person, it wants to be free to move here and there without restraint. I try to keep up my little exercise routine and tell myself it's ok I can't do chin-ups at the moment. And tea, lots and lots of tea. Gotta keep that uterus strong ya know. Over all I feel good, and really don't have much to complain about, and lots to be grateful for. My body is officially ready to meet this little person, but it's kinda crazy to think about doing this whole infant stage again. It's not easy (in my opinion) but I think I'm ready for the beautiful challenge again. One more month!!! Give or take three weeks.

30 Weeks

30 weeks is one of my milestones when I'm pregnant. 18 weeks, second trimester, half way, third trimester, 30 weeks, 36 weeks, and 40 weeks are kinda my personal 'big deal' weeks. I'm feeling good, staying busy, not too much to complain about. Trying to get more calcium because my legs are prone to cramping, and baby is starting to feel "pokey", but other than that I'm feeling good. I feel a lot larger than last time though. Last time everyone told me I wasn't gaining enough, now people are surprised I'm not due tomorrow. (Sigh) Nope, still a ways to go. I'm not heavier than last time, but I am larger and 'rounder' it would seem. It's keeping me motivated to get my walk in though, so that's good. Baby feels larger than Evin, and I have a hard time not thinking it will be a 15lb. baby by the end. I know, I know, it won't be, but still. If you see me, tell me I look so small, and August isn't that far away ;) These pictures were taken Memorial Day.
